You know I couldn't have been happier when I peeped the Lanvin resort 2012 collection and saw floaty silk chiffon dresses and 2 piece outfits, sprinkled with platforms and turbans throughout. If you know me, you know I stockpile turbans and platforms and glittery silk chiffon and big jewels and anything "Magical genie realness." I also accosted a woman in a parking lot a few weeks ago that was wearing an epic 2 piece Miss O. outfit. Her orange skin tone and cotton candy consistency coiffed hair created an armor around her... it made me nervous. When I finally summoned the courage to give her my business card, she was in her big white Cadillac applying and re-applying her coral lipstick and perfume. I almost didn't want to interrupt her grooming routine. I love watching the older creatures and their elegant ways, its like going back in time. I am overcome with happiness and inspiration when I see a lady, dressed, perfumed, made up and coiffed. Such elegance, such dignity.....So anyway, a theme has once again presented itself....enjoy.
